Service and food are always delicious and consistent. Been coming here for 10 years and it never disappoints! They are also exceptionally accommodating when it comes to reservations. The tasting menu is my favourite and one of the best you can get!

I love Banana Leaf! The service is great and the food is amazing. I love the decor - lots of live plants giving you an outdoorsy feeling. Mango margaritas were on special and they tasted so fresh. We started with roti canai which was chewy and crispy with a tasty curry dipping sauce. The eggplant was delicious especially with their house made sambal sauce. The lamb rendang was so tender and flavourful with the coconut rice, and our favourite dish mee goreng was just the right amount of spice (we asked for extra spicy). We would definitely return to try to branch out with more menu items and not just stick to our faves!

Came in for the first time you try the Dine Out Festival menu. What a delicious meal I had! Tasted some of the dishes, and was really happy with all the options. Fresh food, friendly service. Definitely recommend making a reservation, as it can get really busy for lunch time.

Dine Out Vancouver adventure continues at Banana Leaf Malaysian Cuisine! Definitely worth checking out. We chose 8-course tasting menu for 35 per person and you get all of these tantalizing and flavourable dishes: APPETIZERS : eggplant fries, tom yum chili fried clams and satay beef skewers ENTREES: mango chili prawns, otak-otak fish fillet, nyonya pork ribs and turmeric coconut spinach accompanied with ginger garlic rice DESSERTS: pulut inti - sticky rice with shredded coconut Unfortunately, Dine Out Vancouver 2025 is no longer available but we will be back to for regular menu. The service was outstanding and the food kept coming out nice and hot. I love the plants decorated throughout the restaurant as I felt like I was dining out in Asia, on vacation.

Yummy Decided to come back for lunch due to dine out. We had the 7 course tasting menu for 25/person. Not sure when they renovated but the restaurant bright, clean and welcoming. Super service. Tasting menu was delicious. Salad was fresh and cold. Chicken skewers moist and cooked perfectly. Roti is always yummy. Fish was delicious. So happy we returned. Great value and delicious food.

Love it! I’ve been to Banana Leaf two or three times now, and it never disappoints! The mocktails are super refreshing and flavorful, and the food is always delicious with fresh ingredients and unique flavors. Whether it’s my first visit or a return trip, the experience is always fantastic. The ambiance is great, and the service is excellent. Highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Southeast Asian cuisine—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food is good. The interior decor is very fancy and heavenly for a plant lover. The staff is very kind and attentive. Eggplant fries and mango sticky rice dessert were my favourite.

First time dining at Banana Leaf and the food didn’t disappoint! Had the curry chicken & vegetables with the hainan ginger garlic rice. Food was tasty and flavourful, and the service was friendly. Also tasted a bit of the assam curry tofu & vegetables and jasmine rice- I found the tofu and curry in particular pretty delicious! The ambience is lovely and the decor is tasteful with an outdoorsy, nature feel. Strongly recommend.
